Honey Walnut Oatmeal Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Organic Fields Australian Rolled Oats (100 g)
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup all-purpose flour (80 g)
- 2 tbsp Organic Fields Cashew Spread (60 g)
- 3 tbsp Organic Fields Raw Honey (40 g)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp Organic Fields Ceylon Cinnamon Powder
- 1 pack Organic Fields Walnuts (50 g)
- 1 egg
Cooking Method:
- Chop the walnuts into small pieces and set aside.
- Combine the rolled oats with water and let them soak while preparing other ingredients.
- In a bowl, mix the flour with baking powder and cinnamon powder.
- In a blender or mixing bowl, combine soaked oats, flour mixture, cashew spread, raw honey, and egg. Blend or mix until smooth and well combined.
- Stir in half of the chopped walnuts into the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased or lined baking pan and sprinkle the remaining walnuts on top as a garnish.
- Bake at 200°C for 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Drizzle with a little extra honey before serving for added sweetness and shine.
