Orange Milk Sago

Servings: 4-5 servings

Recipe

Soup Base:

  • 80g of sago
  • 600ml of milk
  • 3 oranges

Orange Jelly:

  • 4 oranges
  • 5g of orange zest
  • 25g gelatin powder
  • 15g lemon juice
  • 30g organic field monk fruit sweetener
Instructions
  1. Boil 1 pot of hot water and put in 80g of sago. Boil for 15 minutes with cover lid using medium heat. Once the sago becomes transparent transfer into a bowl of cold water.
  2. Peel 5g of orange zest.
  3. Blend the oranges with lemon juice. Use a sieve to filter out the juice and transfer into a pot.
  4. Add the gelatin powder, orange zest and monk fruit sweetener into the juice and boil at low to medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the orange mixture into a plate and fridge for 1 hour. After 1 hour, cut the orange jelly into cube.
  6. Cut three oranges into pieces. Put the sago, orange pieces, orange jelly and ice cube into a bowl. The dessert is ready to be served.
